The Curious Kitchen Brand Book is a comprehensive, semester-long branding project that brings together research, strategy, visual design, and application development into a single cohesive document. The project outlines the full development of Curious Kitchen, a digital cookbook platform designed to help home cooks and bakers organize recipes, grocery lists, and personalized collections in a single intuitive space.
Designed in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator & Photoshop) and Figma, FigJam, and Canva, the book showcases both the strategic thinking and visual execution behind the brand. It highlights the evolution of the project from early research and problem definition to final UI design and branded assets.
The brand book includes Curious Kitchen's project statement, audience insights, research findings, and future roadmap, as well as its full brand identity system—featuring tone of voice, core values, design principles, color palette, typography, mascot system, and brand archetypes. It also presents user personas, a site map, and a fully developed application interface, demonstrating how the product functions and supports user needs.
In addition, the book features real-world brand applications such as merchandise, social media campaigns, and poster designs, showing how the Curious Kitchen identity extends beyond the app experience. Organized across multiple development phases, the document serves as both a process book and a comprehensive brand guideline.
