Horchata Process

Horchata Process is an information design project created in Adobe InDesign that uses custom iconography and visual storytelling to communicate the step-by-step process of making authentic horchata. The project explores how clear visual systems can transform instructional content into an engaging and easy-to-follow experience.

The objective was to organize complex information into a structured format that guides users through each stage of the recipe. Through the development of custom icons, thoughtful layout design, and a carefully selected color palette, I created a cohesive visual language that supports comprehension and usability.

The final design demonstrates how iconography, visual hierarchy, and information design can work together to communicate instructions clearly while creating an engaging and accessible user experience.
